Wilson's Orchard
Wilson’s is part nature park, part orchard. Surrounded by old oak forest, the farm occupies both sides of a valley with Rapid Creek winding through the land.
From August - October, Wilson's Orchard offers u-pick & pre-picked apples and pumpkins, homemade baked goods, and fresh pressed cider. Fruit, Family and Fun - they all come together at Wilson's Orchard.
Tractor Rides:
Rapid Creek Crossing with TractorA perennial favorite at Wilson’s Orchard is our tractor ride. On weekends, climb aboard our specially-made trailer and take a ride out through the orchard. You’ll travel down the valley, through the creek and out into the orchard. On the way, you’ll hear about what’s ripe, alligators in the creek, Robin Hood’s secret hideout and other near-truths. Once into the orchard, you can get dropped off to pursue your apple picking and either hike back or catch the next trailer. No charge, just good clean fun.
U-Pick:
Apple Picking at Wilson's Orchard Whether on your own or with your family, picking apples at Wilson’s Orchard is a whole body experience. Hear the birds sing, watch the muskrats play, smell the wildflowers. Oh yeah, and pick the best tasting fruit you have ever tried. From August through October, you can find a wide range of apple varieties to choose from. We recommend stopping by the sales barn to sample the varieties ready for picking at the time, then head out into the orchard!
Pumpkins:
During the month of October, you will find a variety of pumpkins available at Wilson’s Orchard. Pick your own pumpkins or grab one from the barn already picked – you choose. We have several fields of pumpkins along the creek, with mini-pumpkins, smallish pie pumpkins and the larger jack-o-lantern pumpkins for carving.

Reviews
Too pricey for big families. Not much to do for kids, you think if they wanted to charge they’d offer more to do. It’s definitely lost it’s touch.

I took my 3 year old daughter to Allens Apple Orchard in Iowa City. She loved it, it was a great experience she will never forget. She absolutely loved the tractor ride and picking the apples. The staff was termoundous.
