Leflur / Lefler House - Sioux City IA Real Haunted Places
- 3427 Garretson Ave.
- Sioux City, IA
This home has been the site to several murders and is believed to be quite haunted. Some strange happenings that have been reported here include a red glow that has been seen upstairs, an extremely cold attic (even during the hot summers), and a washing machine that runs all on its own. The owner has reported seeing a lady ghost wearing a blue dress and saw a marble being throw across the home. The location is believed to have at least 7 ghosts that reside there and is now a private home.
I actually lived in the house directly behind this one and it was very haunted, especially the back bedroom that faced this house. You could always hear people outside that were not there, smell smoke, hear footsteps. I find it odd that it occurred in the backyard the met the backyard of this house. Many times at bedtime the ghost would shut the lights off for you. It like to move things out of that back bedroom. It also did not like my mom and held her down on the bed one time?Posted 6/23/20
