Local legend of this bridge says that a mother once killed all three of her kids here. Some say she hung them from the bridge and they were hit by a train. Her ghostly head is said to follow you down the road and apparently if your doors or windows aren't locked, she will try to make her way inside your car, trying to throw you off the bridge. It was reported that the bridge was taken down and rebuilt in 2004.

So the directions I found online took us to a bridge outside of Fort Dodge but it didn't quite fit the description. Instead of a road passing over the train tracks the road passed UNDER the tracks. So the story of the woman throwing her kids off the bridge in front of the train doesn't exactly make sense.. however it was still a creepy place to visit at night considering it was a gravel road pretty much in the middle of nowhere so 4/10?
