Rumor says that a student killed himself here and everyone who is assigned to his room dies or vanishes. Students are reportedly afraid to go into the room, and it seems the university stopped assigning it because of this. Others say the room isn't used because of safety issues, stating that it does not have access to a fire escape.

One night back in 1989 I resided on the Chamberlin floor. Asleep in my loft i was waken up by the sound of a voice saying. "Peaches" repeatedly. with a scratching noise along with that. It was coming from the floor above me. Very skeptical as far as a "haunt", but creepy non the less.
