Locals tell a story of an antique glass jar that was found in these woods and taken to a nearby resident’s garage. Shortly thereafter, the spirit of a sad-looking Native American appeared and walked right through a table. The jar was taken back to the forest the next day and broken against a tree, and since then, Indian calls have been heard coming from the forest.
