This cemetery is believed to be haunted by a young girl who apparently doesn't like to get any visitors. She has reportedly pointed at the gates, telling visitors to leave. Reports of babies crying has also been heard.

We were driving through Charlotte when I remembered hearing about its haunted cemetery. We decided to try and find it! It is off the beaten path but we finally spotted it and drove the path up the patch of trees surrounding it. We reverently walked the small well maintained grounds. I announced that we were just paying our respects and wouldn’t stay long. So many of the headstones are for babies and very young children. We didn’t encounter anything scary. It felt very peaceful. I will definitely go again.
