This is a must see!! From the very beginning to the very end the haunted hospital keeps you on your toes and scares you good along the way! They are a great group of workers that go out of their way to ensure that you have a great time!! New this year is their online ticket sales and line reservations. I highly recommend doing this! Skip the long wait in-line and walk up to the front when it’s your reserved time to go through!

Blown away!

Do NOT overlook this haunt! Small price tag, but INCREDIBLE experience! Excellent layout, wonderful detail, and top notch actors! Their pneumatics are out of this world!

Email Verified Best one I’ve been to in years

Took 12 of us over a hour away, many new to haunted houses and several who go yearly- Haunted Houses are my thing; my birthday is in October and we typically hit 4-6 every year. My 6yr old has been going since she was 4yrs old and loves them, she refused to go into this one sadly. I don’t know where to even start, let’s go with price- $15 is beyond amazing; slaughterhouse in DSM is $30 this year and it’s pretty good they put tons of money every year into it - this one SMASHES that one and it’s NON PROFIT!!! The ppl working the lines outside as well as all common areas are some of the nicest ppl you’ll meet. Now for the scares… some are what you would expect but most are off the charts - this is a must see haunted attraction for sure it exceeded my expectations dramatically and is well worth the drive.

Awesome!!!!

We were in line when a young lady had a seizure. A couple people help her right away and then 2 actors showed up removed their clown masks and started helping. They both seemed to know exactly what todo. They carried the poor girl out of the basement and up the stairs where the ambulance was waiting. It wasn’t long and one of the actors came back down grabbed his mask and continued to entertain like nothing happened.Just goes to show the actors and people that run this are top notch and have people in all the right places just in case!The haunt it self was sweet. Jump scares freaky rooms can’t wait tell next year

Thank you to the whole team for setting up something as spooky as hell. It was a great effort. Way to go. The set was designed keeping in mind the hospital theme. The actors were brilliant and had their best foot forward to scare us. They dressed up their part and looked every bit of it. The special effects played an important role and we were stunned. It was awesome, scary and fun and we are looking forward to it again.

Eldora Haunted Hospital was awesome scary. Kudos to the management for setting up this abandoned wing of the hospital into a spooky space to enjoy horror. The design was creepy, with confusing mazes and special scenes. The scare actors were professionals who knew how the scare the crap out of the visitors. It is a nice gesture that the entry fee you pay goes towards charity. Check this one out.

It was an outstanding effort by the Eldora team. We were amazed and scared. It was spectacular. Went with family and friends to one of IOWA'S best haunt house. A hospital set that is completely spooky. The scenes were excellent and out of the world. Actors as doctors, nurses and patients were all weird looking. Like in a zombie movie. They perfectly acted out scary scenes and followed a storyline till the end. Props and special effect need a mention here. They got us alarmed a few times. It was whole lot of fun and we loved them all. Definitely recommend for those who are looking for a whole some entertainer.

Absolutely entertaining. I and friends had a great time in the haunted hospital. The scares came from all sides. While all of them were not intense enough to scare me, few jump scares got me by surprise. My friend screamed once. The actors were passionate about doing their job. The set design was creepy at best. It was also a nice touch that the nominal entry fee was being donated to charity. I would suggest this haunt to all.

Spectacular sets and new scares

I’d been to Eldora last year, and this year lots of things have changed. New scares, spectacular sets, and creepy actors welcomed the visitors. The dark and spooky alleys with scary props, zombies and animatronics virtually freaked me out. My GF who was with me screamed and jumped few times. Actors’ gory makeup was spot-on. The queue was well managed as we hardly took 20 minutes to get inside the haunt. I will come again for sure.

So much of fun

Had been there with family and we had splendid time. Themed around a hospital, it was spooky fun with doctors, nurses and patients. The sets were spectacular and so were the actors. An amazing visuals added to the fury. Actors did their part perfectly well. They knew how to scare. Before you know it you will be attacked and it is so much of fun. You will lose track of time. You should surely check it out.

Definitely freak you out

They’ve converted an abandoned wing of a hospital into a scary place. The haunt had creepy sets, decent scares and hallways that would freak you out. The jump scares got me few times. I considered myself a bit of a strong minded guy. Still I was startled couple of times. The actors all did a great job. Their costume/make up spot-on. Ticket prices were not pricey either. Recommend this place.

Professional!

The staff is very dedicated to making the experience enjoyable, they have staff dealing with traffic and parking, actors entertaining the crowd, this year they opened the basement for warm and dry waiting.They do an excellent job of changing up the attraction each year and always have a new specialty every year.Lots of live actors and we'll organized!

I have visited many haunted houses, but this place is just amazing. Loads of fun and super scary haunt. Overall, a heart pounding fear packed place and definitely worth visiting for a decent admission fee. Great work guys!!

Inside the place, ambiance was similar to an evil haunted hospital and animatronics were superbly crafted and placed magnificently. Actors were in creepy costumes, with stains of red color and it was really damn scary. We spent around 45 minutes inside the hospital and had tons of scares and screaming along with jumping was very common for my wife.

Tons of scares underpinned by highly skilled actors were just a wow factor for me. Queue was very well managed; we hardly spent twenty minutes to get inside the space. All the decorations were eye catching, especially the rooms displayed old evil haunted hospital kind of structures. All the actors were fabulous, did a fantastic job in scaring me. I startled so many times, but loved it!

Our family visted for the first time in 2017 and loved it! It took much longer to get through than I anticipated. The halls were twisty, dark, with something unexpected around almost every turn. Most doorways had fabric hanging above the threshold so you had to feel your way through to the next room which added to the anticipation of what was yet to come. Very fun, scary attraction with plenty of loud noises to catch you off guard! Expect the unexpected!

I saw the 2015 and 2016 Best Overall Haunt awards and had to see what this was all about. They did it again! The 2017 haunt was awesome! We laughed and cried at the same time all the way through! Great actors...great scenes...GREAT job!

Great time

Had a great time at the Haunted Hospital. Even got scared by some little people as they chased me down a hallway. Waited in line inside and the atmosphere really got us pumped up to go through. I would recommend this to anyone.

Pretty ordinary

Honestly, I expected more scares. The haunted hospital set was well designed and at parts, it did look creepy. But after some time, I got used to it, and thereafter, it was pretty ordinary. No actors or costumes looked scary enough to me. A one-time visit.

The haunted hospital is definitely the scariest I have been too! The new attractions are something you will be laughing and crying at the same time! I love the new indoor lines. No worries about closing due to weather. Great job, once again! Iowa's #1 haunted attraction!

Absolutely the best haunted house I've been to. The atmosphere is in an old hospital. This year with the rain we got to wait in lines inside, which was amazing. They have this elevator ride that is out of this world!!!!! I'm surprised they don't charge twice as much because it is definitely worth it!

Worth the money-fun times with friends

A great event to go to if you were looking for something to do on a Friday or a Saturday night. Very much worth the $10 cover charge to get you into the doors. The actors and actresses are very well placed throughout the haunted hospital. Really cool that you can get your picture taken at the end with a sign. The drone that flew over to take live footage was pretty awesome. I really enjoy the fact that the Rotary club keeps the money and it's a local area to help the community. It will be an event that people can go to year after year. I like that they have from 7 to 8 PM flashlight time so just in case you have somebody that is not comfortable going through at the full tilt of a scare they can still go through and enjoy.

Email Verified HOLY CRAP!! Such a good show!

I drove an hour and 45 minutes on Saturday the 22nd because I heard good things on facebook. The line was almost all the way around the building, but it didn't seem like I waited that long because everyone was really cool to hang out with. Once I got inside, the last bit of the line was awesome!That first room really set the pace for the whole haunt. I loved it!It was only $10, and I found out the whole operation is run by the local Rotary Club and goes back to the community to help a lot of people. So cool.

When u enter, the atmosphere starts it out. I think the scenery was awesome and the unexpected was well thought out for a small town venue and the use of the hospital setting. Many parts will make u scream and maybe even pee your pants. It also is a great way to celebrate your birthday!! Price and time is worth it.

I went with my friend....

At first we thought it would just be a couple of boos but it was the total opposite!!!!!! When we first went on it was not that bad, but my friend had wore a pair of glow on the dark cat ears and she got soo scared that she lost them!!!!I loved the part when the baby on the ceiling pees on you. The little girls had a nice conversation with us and wanted us to play the game knifes with them. Creppy but interesting both of us swore like crazy at the little girls and then we told them that they smoked too much. Lol. At the end we got candy so it was all good. This has been the best haunted hospital/house I had ever been in!!!!our faces?????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????

Top of the Class

We visited many haunted houses this past weekend and this was by far the most bang for the buck. There was plenty of staff to provide plenty of scare. A well done performance and job well done by the staff. Thank you and see you again next year.

Amazing Haunt!

I have been to many haunted attractions over the years, and too often they are the same every year. This one changes it up! I heard they added 4 or 6 more rooms, completely remodeled the whole layout, changed the theme to fit a full "haunted hospital" experience, and they are even cheaper than the rest!
